Rebecca started out in photography in 2003, when her first child was born. What started as a desire to document a growing family quickly developed into a passion for the art of photography, particularly the printed image. She uses subtle colours to capture a sense of season and place, to reflect mood and atmosphere, and to convey how she felt in the moment. Her style is typically minimalist, often depicting details in the landscape, botanical elements and still life scenes. Her images often feature her local Derbyshire landscape, or coastal scenes from Suffolk and Essex, where she grew up.
Rebecca was honoured to be invited to become a member of the London Salon of Photography in 2017 and was delighted to accept.
